I had a look for the LITE-ON keyboard but it seems to have been discontinued. Since the remote function depends on IR (RF universal remotes don't exist I think) then the keyboard must use IR as the trasmitter medium. I have decided to proceed with the streamzap, but I noticed that Sage actually has an IR keyboard. Do anybody know if this keyboard can be emulated by the JP1 remotes the same way as the LITE-ON keyboard?

I have a Gyration wireless keyboard and mouse. The keyboard is laptop small, and works well. It worked fine in X as soon as it was plugged in.
It lives next to my sofa and is great for controling Myth.
 The link is :
<http://www.gyration.com/mcrsuite.htm>http://www.gyration.com/mcrsuite.htm That's the nearest I could find on the web-site. It has an RF receiver that plugs into USB. The one I bought has a gyro mouse of limited usefulness and cost $120 at Fry's.

I second the usefulness of the Gyration, with the additional comment that while I rarely use the mouse's gyroscopic feature, it also works as a standard optical mouse. My sofa makes a good mouse mat :-).
