Ok, if I do a modprobe ivtv-fb it seems to find and configure the
card properly but when I try to put it into my ivtv modules file, it
hangs when booting right after configuring bttv. I'll have to play
with it more as I have family things to do today so I can't fiddle as
much as this will need at the moment.

Thanks for the pointer. Somehow I had missed the ivtv-fb when I went
through it previously

fbdev is actually framebuffer driver for NVidia cards, so it does the
right thing when it shows PCI ID of your GeForce. You want ivtv-fb
module. Make sure you read the PVR350 section of Jarod's Howto for all
the ivtv parameters:

I've set up a KnoppMyth box that includes an AGP GeForce2 card with TV out
and a PVR-350 and want to output my video through the PVR-350 tv out. I'm
new to KnoppMyth (but not linux) and have been playing with this new machine
for about a week now, have looked at all the PRV-x50 notes and think I have
figured out the problem but not a solution. I believe I am having problems
because my AGP graphics card has video out and I want to use the 350's video
out. (note, the IR Remote also isn't working but I think that might be
partially due to this pvr-350 setup issue) The error I get starting the X
 server is:

(EE) open /dev/fb1: No such device
 (EE) No devices detected.

Just above this in the log I see

(II) FBDEV: driver for framebuffer: fbdev, afb
