Hi Jules,
How did you get past the builsd error below?
I ended up rolling back to FC3, gcc-3.4 and an earlier xorg-x11 unichrome. All I had to do was build a kernel module and myth and xine just worked straight off at and livna (I got xine-lib from the unichrome site)....

Apparently there is some bug in gcc4 that I was tickling. Strangely my box - an Ezra 1Ghz - seems to be confused about whether it is i586 or i686. It seems to dynamically link some i686 lib (installed in libc package I think) to binaries. There was some suggestion on the unichrome list that this might be a problem, but it seems to be working fine now.

P.S.

maybe i should rebuild Myth - I'll kick a build off...

(I have to use nodeps because the at package expects a libXvMCW-devel package which seems to now be merged into unichrome xorg...)

looks like my gcc-4.0.1-4.fc4 is a little bit stricter than the one myth was expecting... :-(

just not my day/week - eh !

I think I'll take a rest from this...
