My understanding is that the 169time mods merely provide access over 
firewire to the digital stream from the satellite provider (possibly 
with 5C protetction removed).  I'm not sure what that format is, but I 
don't think it's MPEG.  Myth's firewire support is geared toward MPEG, 
AFAIK.
