The command to get this card working is: /sbin/modprobe dvb-bt8xx
This loads the driver for the card. If you have not done this, try to run it as root. This should make the adapter0 item that mythtv refers to. You can then try running mythtvsetup again. Once that is working, you will need to get it to load automatically on startup - but you can load it manually each time until everything is working.
