Okay, There has been a lot of discussion about getting MythTV to change channels faster then you could hit your remote. What should actually do the trick? Is there a special tuner card? Are super-fast $2,000 RAID hard drives (for better IO) the answer? Is it the CPU that's holding those channels back? Is the MythTV code borked?
