I have had a pvr250 for some time and recently started having problems with choppiness/slowdown. I see the following out of mythfrontend....

You likely won't get any video" and it didn't seem to be a problem. I did recently install another pvr150 but it was happening before that. I get it with live tv or watching recordings thru myth. If I watch recordings thru mplayer, I don't have this problem. here is output from dmesg...
