Which Hauppauge remote do you have? Is it the newer all silver remote, or the older one with a silver face and black underside? If you want to post your lircd.conf, I can take a quick look when I have a minute. I can't think of a reason why Jarod's file no longer works with it- have you reinstalled LIRC at all, or just created new lircd.conf files?
