I’m looking for advice in moving channel data that I scan using dvbscan into myth channel listing.

I’ve set up a capture card (dvb) as indicated in the setup guide.

Adding the hd3000 as a dvb device shows up and looks right in myth-setup.

I can use dvbscan/ and azap to select and tune into channels. Running dvbscan to create a conf file works fine,

However I can’t for the life of me figure out how to get the frequencies and their sub-channels imported into myth, AND mapped to existing channel listing provided by zap2it.

So far I’ve tried to

-import the data using the channel.conf format. However this always errors indicating that I don’t have valid data.

(So on this note, what is the proper format that myth expects for a channel.conf. What would be defaults that work?)

Mine accepted the channels.conf file I generated using tzap and scan (see http://www.linuxtv.org/). Mine is a DVB-T card.
