IMHO, upgrading a PC by buying a new processor is a waste of money, so I
buy based on cost today and use the money I save to buy a whole new
system in the future. I guess that explains why I have 10 computers and
one laptop in my house (technically, 2 laptops, but one of them is parts
now). Although, I should admit, there might be other reasons for all
those computers, too...
