If I remember correctly, a few weeks ago when I was compliling svn I
had the same error with Ubuntu Breezy on an x86.

When running ./configure, I noticed that it didn't have Xv support. So
I started looking at the configure script, and discovered that where
it was looking and where my libraries are located actually differ. I
made a symlink to correct the difference.

That's all the info I have. Sorry I can't remember the exact details,
all that I have in my notes is "look at configure and link libs to get
Xv and xrandr working".
