I'm having some pci shortage issues so I'm considering upgrading my pvr250's to a pvr500. First do people consider the driver stable (compared to the pvr250) for daily usage? Can the driver be mixed with a pvr250 in the same machine?
Secondly, it looks like the picture at buy.com of the pvr500 http://www.buy.com/retail/Product.asp?sku=10386574&SearchEngine=PriceRunner&Type=PE&Keyword=10386574&Category=Comp&dcaid=17712 is slotted for both 3.3 and 5 volt, is this true? All the other cards I have are 5.0 volt only. A 3.3v card would be very nice because I have a PCI-X server in the system where I can't use 2 available PCI-X slots because they are only 3.3v. This could be a real life saver to be able to use those slots. Brian
