Looks very interesting, but it would still seem to depend on getting lm_sensors and ivtv to cooperate. The folks getting this working may not have been using ivtv, or may have been using mobos with ISA sensor access. OTOH it probably can be made to work with ivtv and i2c, I just need more spare time... I think ivtv only uses i2c for the remote control stuff. If I eschew the remote it might solve some problems.
