Sorry I forgot to review my comment there are some mistakes in it. Here I have corrected them. What was happening that after a few instances of launching and closing the MYunity app as I was trying to test the functions of MyUnity for the screencast, what happened that on one occasion when I lauched MyUnity its icon will not show up in the launcher. I tried dragging it to the launcher but then also it will not get locked to the launcher, one time it did get locked but the icon wasn't visible. So I filed this bug then most probably I restarted or logged out for some reason and when I tried MyUnity again it seemed to be working correctly hence I posted the first comment. After spending some more time with it the same thing that I have mentioned above happened hence resulting in me posting my second comment and marking the bug as new.
