Dear Mark I encountered the same problem, but reinstallation of 32 -bit version MSFileReader 2.2 got rid of the problem on Japanese version 64-bit windows 7 Home. Best regards

This refuses to work resulting in a "java.io.IOException Unable to Initialise RAW file object, have you installed MSFilereader" message. I tried both the 64 bit version and the 64 and 32 bit version. A workaround is to use the earlier msfilereader_ver13_04-14-2009_Setup. This works.
