G'day,

Renjin looks interesting.  It's too immature for the sorts of scripts 
used by baseline correction but is worth keeping an eye on.

I looked at Rserve initially when thinking about R-integration but opted 
for plain rJava as it doesn't require the user to (install and) run 
Rserve outside MZmine.  The price the user pays is in setting various 
environment variables to configure rJava, which can be awkward.

Another option is Rcaller https://code.google.com/p/rcaller/ by some of 
the same people working on Renjin.

On balance I reckon Rserve might be the best option - I'll put something 
in the tracker.
