Hi Jeremy, Excellent!!! Problem sorted then.
I wasn’t sure if .cdf was the same as netCDF, so wanted to clarify. Many thanks Tom From: Jeremy Hack [mailto:jeremy.h...@awri.com.au] Sent: Friday, 17 August 2012 11:57 AM To: Developer discussion Subject: Re: [Mzmine-devel] file type Hi Tom, Whilst I’ve not imported csv files into MZmine, cdf files work very well for MS1 data and will accurately represent your data. You will likely lose information regarding instrument conditions and methods, but that won’t hinder your analysis in MZmine. In my experience, the netCDF files I’ve used didn’t support higher level MS data (MSn), but that may have changed with newer versions of the file format- refer to http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/netcdf/#home for more info. My files are currently in *.ms format. It appears the only other formats that I can export in are *.cdf and *.csv. Will the *.cdf files open in MZmine without any loss of information? If not, what is my best work around? Regards Tom
