Looking at the rsession's SVN repository, it seems someone does occasionally
work on it (last commit was in October 2014):

But it is fine if you want to use your own modified classes in MZmine.

One last thing: Since Rsession is very light (3/4 main classes, once
removed the ones we don't need), with no particular additional
dependencies, and also since it's code is quite messy, and since I
already made some slight changes in the code, and since it hasn't been

fair and reasonable to inject the code directly in a new MZmine package
such as "net.sf.mzmine.util.R.Rsession".

MZmine way of logging (for now I just redirected as cleanly as I could

asking rights for updating the original project on google code -
Licensing is BSD), and, of course, quoting the original authors...
Well, AFAIK, there is no particular issue in doing this that way (BSD
being very permissive).
