Hi Cara,
As you can imagine, the setup using wine is not really officially supported. It
might work or not, depending on luck.
In MZmine 2.13 we updated the Thermo RAW reader so it is now implemented in C#
(using .NET framework) instead of plain C. This is probably the reason why it
does not work anymore under your wine environment. I am sorry, but I won’t
return back to C, because accessing COM components from C is such a pain, and
C# makes things so much easier and cleaner.
You might try installing the .NET framework v4 under wine (e.g., using the
"winetricks” tool), but honestly I doubt it would work..
Best regards,
Tomas

Hi all,
I have recently installed MZmine 2.13 on a Mac OSX 10.9.5 with updated
java and wine. When I try to import a raw file (from Thermo .RAW) I get
the following message:
java.Iang.Exception: No scans found (NativeFileReadTask.java:149)
I tried a google search for this error but came up with nothing. It
starts opening the file and then stops with this error (would this
happen with a memory issue?). Any ideas on what needs to be fixed here?
It might be something obvious but I appreciate the help.
Thank you,
Cara
