So far, so good as I can tell.

Now, I do as you suggest, I use "I". then read the sector to buffer at 
0100H and it looks good to me:

Examining memory at 0100 through the monitor looks just like this - so, 
what can I try next?   Seems very close but the CPM3.SYS is not executing 
properly?
