Hi folks,
I got my serial IO Board running today :) having only an Ithica CPU board, my oscilloscope and open workbench sniffer went quite useful to debug the whole stuff. actually I had not a single problem with the N8VEM SIO board ! the only difficulties went from the CPU board and essentially some mistakes I did in the EPROM code : having no RAM board, I removed all references to memory (including CALL, PUSH, POP, etc) and ended up burning a code limited to sending the monitor signon message and echoing characteres received for the RS232 interface. next next is now the 4Mb board, I initially thought the 2nd one would the propeller board, but I think I first need to get some RAM in order to run the monitor appropriately and move to the next level.. Having LOTS of fun ! cheers Philippe <https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-EdvA219adVM/U7m8mWrdDDI/AAAAAAAAAGA/wjtkN0d_tKw/s1600/SIO+working.jpg> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "N8VEM-S100" group.
