Thank you Franck, this is very helpful. I almost completed my SMB and will start testing it this WE. In particular, I will probably have to do the mod on U10 you suggest as I am using an old Ithaca CPU board for the time being. Also, in order to mount the TIL311 mezzanine on my case front panel, I decided to solder the pin connectors on the copper side, so I had to swap the wires on the ribbon cable to make sure the connector rows are appropriately connected. I will probably use a separate prototype board for the LEDs and switches as I want to use a different layout than the one that is used on the mezzanine (as John did on his personal system). When this works - and I am up to speed with Kicad - I will probably do a specific PCB to make things look better. Will provide feedback and return from experience in this thread. Philippe
