Hi John / Gary,
 
I've got it working now.
 
I reprogrammed the ROM with V3.5 and now it's working, I guess the first 
time I wrote the ROM with V 3.5 a bit/byte didnt take properly.
 
Thanks for the confirmation Gary, it was your post that prompted me to take 
another look -)
