First time I’ve seen a faulty etch too. Don who did the boards, (I always get
my “production boards” done with PCB Card and prototypes with Advanced
Circuits). It’s absolutely critical you can count on reliable etching.
Fortunately for Ian he spotted that one

Don,

No need to replace the board - it’s 90% soldered up already :) A little
exacto-knife action fixed it. I’m just interested if it was something
associated with a part of the board run or something. Just something to look
out for if anyone is having difficulty with A14 and A15.

This is the first report of such a problem. I'd be happy to replace the board.

Hello Fp Mini builders,

In my continued *slow* crawl towards completing my FP mini, I discovered
something very interesting. The solder side of my PC board has a blob of copper
shorting out ground, A14 and A15. I've attached a (poor) picture of the blemish
(below the solder mask!) and an after-shot of me having to scrape away the
copper.

Just wondering if anyone else had this same blemish?

Ian
