Andy - John Coffman designed a nice 80C188 SBC. I'm not sure if it's close enough to the 8088 to do what you need, but you can fine more at http://n8vem-sbc.pbworks.com/w/page/28238657/ECB%20SBC-188. You might ask John C on the "plain" N8VEM Google Group (this group is specific to the S100 cards).
