Hi, How to I configure a periodic downtime of a server?
My scenario: 7 groups of servers, each group gets rebooted on a specific weekday at 4am. (windows-servers, they reboot them before they crash!) If I change the check_period of the host to a timeperiod that excepts 3:30 - 4:30 I still get the notifications for all the services on the host, because nagios does not know, the host is down. If I change the notification_period of the host, Nagios stops checking the services when the host is down, but as some of them take a while to boot, I get the notifications after the host is up again but not yet completelly up. Can I somehow do a periodic scheduled downtime without using cron?
