Hey Athena, Mine were on for 2 months so maybe 2 weeks won't hurt. My paint guy said it's from the constant vibration it actually loosens a little and sand and dirt get under the magnet and scratch the paint. Hey the new ones don't have to know that the first ones got a discount. That was a first come first discount kinds thing the way I look at it. Don't you. You go girl.
