Hi Shannon,
Congraduations on becoming a Nail Tech. I'm in my first year and have had
lot's of questions answered here! It's a great place to network. Have you
tried the Nail Superstore? Just add the .com if you are searching on the
web. Very cool place! They have everything! I'm not good at my smile
lines either. But I know of a fellow Nail tech who does them just like Kim
is explaining them. But find a cheap acrylic brush (the one's you can get
of a couple of dollars) dip it in acetone and clean up your smile line. I
imagine that the brush won't last long dipping it in acetone (maybe polish
remove is gentler- not sure. But it works like charm! You may have to
polish the nail with base coat again before you add the french pink.
Another way I have seen done is using the dot from a scuplting form to help
you create a crisp smile line. I know scuplting forms can be expensive so
you might want to check into to finding a good deals.
Hopes this helps, Jenny
