LOL I know you want to, but no that is not the way to go. I had a client
leave me a very nasty voicemail and call me unprofessional because I didn't
carry
around my book to accomadate her. Well, I called her back and very
professionally and tactfully told her she had offended me and that I didn't
feel
comfortable doing any services on her. She was upset, but hey, don't call my
ethics
into the situation. As long as you stay cool and professional you will know
you handled it correctly. You are smart not to react when you are angry.
That shows you are a professional.

As for what she will tell anyone, who can defend themselves against that?
The clients who are with you know you and who you are so if you end up losing
one of them that she referred to you, you will pick up another one to replace
her.

Just my other two cents worth.
