        1. I am so grateful for this list of amazing nail techs who generously
share their tips, tricks and treats with each other so selflessly. And what a
great support group we’ve become for one another…between dangerously ill
grandchildren and Moms and each other, we all have plenty of challenges, don’t
we?
        2. I’ve had quite the rollercoaster this year with highs and
lows…challenges with trying to manage somewhat of a life, keep a business going
and heal, heal, heal from one assault on my body after another. Thank you…all
of you…for you words of support and kindness. I can’t express properly how
touched I am by all the good “mojo” sent my way.

Am home from surgery (pretty complicated, lots of stuff done by two different
surgeons in one mongo operation). Am very sore…much worse than the first time.
My mind is well and I feel good…but my body quickly reminds me that it’s just
not ready to move yet!  No complications, though, and great expectations. Like
Pati, I am ready to put this little blip behind me and move on with LIFE!!!
.(You GO, girl, with your inspiring good attitude and sense of humor!)

Now begins a phase of driving back and forth to Miami (yesterday’s 7-hours
riding on a road that has suddenly become rough as a corn cob was NOT fun!) for
expansion therapy…and eventually I’ll end up with two somewhat matching mounds
somewhere in the middle of my chest area that will look OK in clothing.
Allrighty then!  Lolol

For now, I am cancer free and have great expectations of remaining so for a
very long time. Life….is good!

My thoughts and prayers have turned many times to those of you here who have
shared your challenges with us. Keep us posted. I’ve always enjoyed hearing the
results of our threads…as much as considering the challenges!

Nail techs….truly rock!

All the best from way down here in Key West!
Karen
