It wasn't scientific at all.  I just kept mixing in the polish until I thought 
it was dark enough.  Sorry.

     I tried this last night with regular polish I got from Naillite and it
worked great! It was pretty see through (can't think of the word I want
here) but after abiut 4 coats is was great. We'll see how it works! I will
try it next with soakable gels!
