since it is a metal brush...have you taken some acteone and cleaned the outside of the brush?? Then I swipe it with alcohol also...do this several times a day.?? I can't guess as to why its happening..I would have to see you holding your brush..do you hang it upside down from your light?? or store it upside down somewhere?? If you store it laying flat ...is it on a paper towel in your drawer..maybe the paper towel is 'contaminated" and is passing it on to your brush...change paper towel regularly....in the meanwhile go to the drugstore and buy finger cots..they look like little condoms for your fingers....it is easy than wearing gloves....just put it on the affected finger.?
