I have never seriously used CND ac. I believe you can adjust the liquid/powder
ratio to suit your purposes, with Entity. I would work with it drier, if you
think that would help. Try it and see. I must confess here. I am a gel tech. If
I ever go back to using ac, though, it will be using Entity. I miss using it!

Thanks, That makes sense. Do you think Entity would be stronger if used dryer?
I have used CND for so long that I automatically use the same liquid to powder
ratio that I am use to with CND. Have you used both of these acrylics?

Perhaps you need a bit more Entity in that stress area. Could be as simple as
that. I felt as you do, Entity is easy to file. It compares to filing gel in my
opinion. It is said that gel's strength is in it's flexibility, which means to
me that gel is not as hard as ac. Depending on how my clients use their hands,
I sometimes have to add a bit of gel thickness in the stress area to ensure
that the gel doesn't crack under the client's normal use of their hands. I
think that's where Entity's ac is similar to gel, so I would treat it as though
it were gel.  I wouldn't mix CND powder with Entity liquid.

Subject: NailTech:: Entity

Hi everyone, I have switched from CND to Entity. I love the feel of the ac. It
is so smooth and easy to file, but I have been having some issues with breaks
or cracks that I did not with CND. Seems to crack in the middle of the nail all
the way across. Which is can be very painful and even crack the natural nail.
I hardly ever seen this with CND. I know a lot of you use Entity. Do you have
any ideas of what I am doing wrong? I am starting to think it is just not as
strong and with winter here they will crack easier. I have purchased a large
amount of Entity liquid and need to buy some more powder. I am
considering going back to CND and using their powder with Entity liquid until
it is used up. I can't waste it. Please tell me your opinions on this, I would
appreciate any help.
