Diana, I would never make fun of you! I think it is great! The good thing is, you are such a good teacher, that you can teach while you learn and help the other techs understand it because you are actually walking in their shoes, so you can explain it better so they understand. Sometimes, I have a hard time teaching something I have been doing for so long, it seems I can't find the right words to put the picture in other peoples minds. We all need to stay in the mind frame as a student, constantly improving and getting better and making the industry better as we grow.

Tanis yep, you and Jenny threatened to throw me off the balcony if I did not learn them!! And Alice is actually the one that said, Diana, try pink and white gels since you hate ac pink and white back fills, so HRTE took care of that one!!!!!!!!you guys have to go to this adventure, one on one!!!! And Darlene, the frustrations of gels over the years that I have had!!!!!!!Gawd, I don't mean to teach them, I don't have the experience!!! Lordy Be, still trying to get it all down!! But there has to be other ac techs out there that are booked, that clients are happy, and they don't have the time to learn them, that is me!!! I just wanted to share my steps in this process as I learn. I have always said that the gel experience is so different than ac!!!!!! clean nail, dehydrate, liquid, powder, technique. Didn't matter what product line you used, basically all the same. But with gels, oh my gawd, builders, molders, leveling, self leveling, bonding, base, sculpture, one steps, two steps, three steps, wipe off, not wipe offs, clear forms, metal forms, 9 watts, 36 watts, soak offs, file offs, blah blah blah........MAKE A GIRL'S HEAD SWIM...Who has time for this?????????? Anyway, I still am fighting with building a nail with regular ac, only doing one client, because she LOVES me, and willing to walk out the door with sometimes horrendous nails!!!!!LOLOLI am slowly getting it, but need to get my technique down and time issue. But with "soft gel" one step overlay, and adding bling, I think it is the perfect way for an experienced ac tech to start learning the different steps and learning the technique. Baby steps!!!LOLOL and it does not take time away from your busy schedule, you are willing to learn something because you are accomplishing something immediately, and the results are beautiful..Okay, got this one down, now let me go to the next step!!!!!!!! Maybe more ac techs would start using gels, if they understood the basics, a bible of manufacturers, dictionary, sort of to get them to atleast understand, or maybe the word is WANT to understand all this. make it simple, fast read, because we are busy with happy clients and don't have time all of the blah blah. We are adventurous IF we have time!!!!!LOLOLO Someone asked me what I was using, I am using Mani-Q from Young Nails and Base and Gloss from Akzentz gels. The point of all this, I am an old dog and learned a new trick!!!!!!!!!!!!!LOLOLOL diana from indiana **************A Good Credit Score is 700 or Above. See yours in just 2 easy steps!
