Hi--
This question is for any tech in PA...Rhonda, Lynnette? My husband is
about to start on my home salon. It will be in the garage. It is 24 x 40 but
he is going to remodel a section to give me about 200-250 square feet, not
counting the bathroom that is already there. I emailed the state board to see
whether I can fax them a plan of how we are going to build it beforehand to see
if it meets requirements. It's been over a week and I have not gotten a
response. Would calling them be better? I figured that they would reply more
quickly by email--but that hasn't been the case.
I know that it has to be a minimum of 10 feet wide. There is an issue with
the garage door that he will have to angle the wall at the garage door to be
less than 10 feet then it will get wider again (10-12 feet) in the main salon
area. Do you know if that is allowed or does the whole salon have to be a
minimum of 10 feet wide? Just was hoping someone could tell me before I am
able to talk to the state board or is there a state board inspector I could
contact that may be able to help us?
Thanks a bunch!
