Holly If you can check out a picture of Estabans' nail. He sells guitars on HSN or QVC one of those channels. His nails are enhanced to play the guitar. I have a friend that plays and he won't let me put enhancements on his nails (right now) so he uses nail tek. But, I am working on him. LOL Maybe gel enhanced with with the opi fiber or gel with ac powder sprinkled in between the gel layers. Also wondering if anyone else has ever done this. The thumb nail ends up being a very odd shape to replace the use of a thumb pick. I am trying different products and additives to the products to increase strength and acoustics. The harder the product the brighter the sound it gives. I am also thinking that fibres in the product will add strength, maybe fibreglass will work. So, if anyone has ever tried this let me know so we can compare notes.
