I had this happen ALL the time when I first learned gels....when the gel cured it would shrink enough to make them crack because the tip was usually sized just to barely fit......now this was also during my first 6 mths of doing nails for the first time.? BUT once I learned how to correctly size the tips I never had the issue again.
