Ok...so they SAY Minx can be applied over acrylic (or gels or whathaveyou,) right? So I tried that. A. acrylic adds bulk to the nail, which increases the area of the nail surface. This means that the Minx templates are not wide enough to cover the nails. I don't think anyone can help with that-- I'd like to see the templates come in more sizes per sheet. B. Does anyone have any helpful tips for getting Minx to STICK to acrylic? Is it best to buff the ac? Should I NOT buff the ac? Should I topcoat? Gel topcoat? Just refuse to put Minx over ac because it turns out to be a disappointing PITA? I have no major complaints about MInxing natural nails... but like I said-- I had it all figured out for doing Minx extensions-- but if I can't get the stuff to stick to enhanement products, I'm gonna take that option down ASAP.
