I have done minx over acrylic twice. The first time I buffed them pretty good to get the shine off. They lasted 2 weeks. Tuesday night I did them on someone else. I don't think I removed enough of the shine because she had to take them off the next day. ugh I also found that using toe minx on acrylics fit much better because you have wider ones to chose from. I wish they would sell big and bigger in individuals, like tips. I have one girl that can't wear them because her big toenail is so large. I can't even turn it sideways on her. Soooo.
