He has a vertical split in is right thumb nail and sometimes it gets really bad..he's been very busy on his buffing wheel lately and he came to me with a huge gash of missing nail right up the middle of his thumbnail.all embedded with jeweler's rouge, of course! So I used my "buffing wheel" (lol!) and on slow speed with a fine grit lightly tap, tap, tapped the loose flapping ledges away that were trapping the black rouge.and then I did a little overlay of clear acrylic over the whole thing. I'm tellin' ya.sometimes the boys are tough on their nails!
