Arpi..I do too! As a footnote to this story, the Dentist came in with all
of his nails nicely trimmed, and lightly buffed to a shine...using his
"MAN-icure Kit" that I put together to retail at Christmas time. He told me
he usually trims his nails Sunday afternoons!

I ordered blue plastic jewelry display boxes (Morning Glory Blue!) that are
about 8 inches long and 2 inches wide and about an inch deep. (I think they
are supposed to be for displaying bracelets.I threw the inside foam thingy
out.) In these boxes I put a Royal Shine Buffer from Supply Source (they're
the square ended kind), a very manly looking stainless steel single-ended
spoon cuticle pusher, one of those big square "dirt board" files that are
brown, a stainless steel toe nail clipper with a straight cutting edge and a
tin of Solar Balm...my cost was about $13 with shipping, etc..sold 'em for
$24.

I think I've sold almost 3 dozen of them..

Cool! I love it when men take care of their nails.

Subject: NailTech:: So...interesting week of nail repairs

This week had my dentist call me for a nail repair appt. (his wife is a
weekly client). He tore a nail down into the quick and his wife suggested he
call me. So he came in and we did a "veneer" on his fingernail! Lolol We
spent the time discussing the differences between dental acrylics and mine!

Next day, another client's husband calls.a jeweler. He has a vertical split
in is right thumb nail and sometimes it gets really bad..he's been very busy
on his buffing wheel lately and he came to me with a huge gash of missing
nail right up the middle of his thumbnail.all embedded with jeweler's rouge,
of course! So I used my "buffing wheel" (lol!) and on slow speed with a
fine grit lightly tap, tap, tapped the loose flapping ledges away that were
trapping the black rouge.and then I did a little overlay of clear acrylic
over the whole thing.

I'm tellin' ya.sometimes the boys are tough on their nails!
