I am getting things set up in my salon, trying 2 decide which brand of nails 2
go with. I am leaning towards gel nails, because of the odor that comes with
AC nails. I am not understanding the difference between soakable gels & gel
nails. It appears to be a lot of curing going on. I have yet to attend a class,
but plan to do so before any major purchases take place.
I recently bought out a portion from a salon that no longer was going to have
nails. With the buy out I got supplies. One of them was a Brisa lamp, as she
did CND gels I believe.
So any help narrowing down which gels would be appreciated!
My thoughts are to try 2 starter kits from different companies, & go from
there.
I wish I could find a nail tech in my area, doesn't appear to be ANY! (Sigh)
Thanks for your time.

HI I'm not Gina or Tammy, I'm the distributor and educator in the NW.
I haven't even begun to start packing for orlando! lol ;)

Dull is typically only one off a few things; under cured, over cured
(more than 3 minutes, it starts to dull - but this is rare), bulbs
need changed, wipe tacky off with acetone or a product containing
acetone.

I do gel polish first and then soak nails, do exfoliates and lotions.
Nothing should be dulling them. Were they super shiny before you put
the lotion on or did you not notice? (sometimes if your pedi room
isn't really lit bright its hard to tell if you aren't looking for
it).

If everyone else's feet have been turning out fine, and its just this
one set, you probably used acetone on accident when you went to wipe
the dispersion layer, I've done it before, its a pain!

If they were shiny when you left its gotta be something on her end.
I've not heard of baby oil dulling the nails but I can check with the
head office to see if they have.
