When I took the Entity Gel class they taught us to wipe the brush off with nail prep, swipe, scrub fresh or whatever prep you use and put the plastic sleeve over it. I store mine on the inside of my nail table door in a plastic pen holder that sticks to the door. When you get it out to use it next time you are suppose to prime it with a little gel first to get the whole brush soft. After each color wipe with your prep product or even alcohol and prime the brush with the next color and so on.
