Wearing enhancements of any type will not increase the germs or bacteria under your nails. It all comes down to basic hand washing, which most do not do and scarily, most don't know how to do properly. I am sure as nail techs, we have all seen people with natural nails with disgusting crud under them. Natural nails do not make a difference. Proper handwashing does.
