I was playing with googles picasa program (free) and noticed it had a
"watermark" feature, I'm going to say it was within the export
settings window..

Most people will ask if a photo can be used, some are clueless that
they need to.. some really don't give a rats hairy butt if they need
to or not..

So with that said.. a photo of the interior of your shop is one thing
(now who might want to use that without permission??) but a pic of
your nail art work.. yes I recommend it to prevent others from
passing it off as their own - even if it is a simple "assumption by
the viewer type of thing

It's a real nice program IMHO.. just take the time to LOOK at the
screen there is a lot it can do so there is LOTS of icons and
choices.. if there is tutorial or it offers to show tips on start
up, do that, and or just wander through the help screen to see the
capabilities and use the help to learn the things you need to right away.

Watermarking can be done with many other image editing programs
also.. do a search for watermark shareware at www.cnet.com in the
software area. If you have some version of photoshop, paint shop
pro.. or maybe installed the software that came with your camera,
many of them will have the capabilities also, some like Paint, will
do this also, if you really get stuck.. uncheck (DRAW OPAQUE) then
put your text, change to a light grey or another very light color.

I like the picasa program better because when you use the "export"
tool, you can watermark and resize all in one step AND it
automatically saves the revised images to a different folder so you
dont lose your originals
