At the request of the lovely Laura Merzetti, here is a compilation of
some of the more interesting answers that I have read on students'
tests. Bear in mind that these folks are trying to come into our
industry, LOLOL!!!!! I have left the spelling and grammar intact for
your amusement. When you are reading some of these answers, bear in
mind as the spelling, grammar, and inability to express thoughts make
your eyes burn, that these are written by my 100% born and bred
CANADIAN students. My immigrant students, bless their souls, have
beautiful handwriting and excellent literacy skills in a language that
is not their own.

>From tests concerning the business chapters of the nail and skin
texts:

Upselling:

If all your client ever wants is a flower on there tow, forget it.
Their prolly not ever gonna part with there money. Don't upsell the
soccer moms, work on the old ladys. They tip better and bring treats.

Professional Image:

Practicing good employee relations is not telling your boss what you
really think of him when he changes your shifts.

You handle a gossipy coworker by making sure that everyone knows just
what SHE is like.

A good part of professional image is not smelling. People won't like
you if you smell.

If the client is late you tell them "Tough luck" and go have your
lunch.

Skin Tech:

Anhidrosis is when someone can't sweat it out. They probably have a
fever.

Aterys carrys blood in the body.

Layers of the epidermis:
Stadum cornum
Stadum licudum
Stadium sperlia
Stratidum gurumanation
Subcontis tissue
Domus

The pancreas eliminates excessive fluid from the body. This is why
diabetics are so fat. There pancreas isn't working properly.

Another word for blemasis is comodon.

Pupules are pus filled and sometimes inflommed.

Lack of vitamens and smocking will be ageing the skin.

Mature skin is full grone and finished deviliping.

If the client has a pacemaker, electrical facial treatments are more
efficient for them.

If you use the glass probe, it makes a current that will dry out zits
and kill germs. It is a Tesla current, named after an old band from
the 80s. You can make a little lightning show on someone's face if you
crank it up when the teacher isn't looking.

You can use a galvanic current to clear all the crap out of someone's
skin. The instrument you use is called a galvanic steamroller.

Galvanic current makes lies in the follicule.

There are three types of lesions: primary, secondary, and
tricentennial. We are only concerned with the first two kinds in the
salon, by the time the client gets the third kind they will be dying
anyway.

About how to perform waxing properly:

Go down on the client, put your wax stripe parillel and pull the
obiset way the har grows. Cut your wax stirps with siccers.

Hair is primly composed of keeritin.



Nail Tech:

Organic chemistries were alive and got burned.

Inorganic chemistries were never alive and no one burned them.

You need to shake the hell out of a suspeesion before you use it.

Fissuers are on feet.

Nails are made of kareteen

Your kidneys are attached to your uterus. That is why pregnant women
pee a lot.

The active bacteria stage is when they move to wherever they want
because its time to go.

Things that prohibit the delivery of a service:
If you prohibit something, you take away the alcohol. Kevin Costner
made a movie about this once. It didn't work and people drank anyway.
Is this a trick question? What does this have to do with nails?

If the client has a plantar's wart, I would tell them to get
theirselfs outta my chair and get to the doctor NOW because no way am
I touching that shit.

If the client has yellowing in there nails then mabey I would offer to
pain there nails with purple because its on the color wheel and will
make the yellow look not so bad.
