Is this a new client ? If so... did she wear nails before ?
Yes?  where did she have them done .. what product ?

If you are doing a MMA product wearer.. then chances are she is use to that sort of product and unless she wears steel on her nails w/ work shop paint on them.. there isn't much going to stay on them.. its what she's use too.. lol

Lots of good advice here.. canning, cleaning a sink w/ bleach... ew..... what in the world is she doing that a sink needs cleaned with bleach every day ?????
Now there is a good question.  IF that is the case her hands are going to be a mess too.
Even diluted 1/2 cup of pure bleach in sink of water is strong... do it and see for yourself.
Put your hands in it and it will be "thick" so to speak.. leaving a film of bleach on your skin..
and it will do damage to the skin.. Lynnette can tell you all about that.

Again what is she doing w/ those hands that gel.. of all things "peels" off in one day ?

And if you "guarantee" nails and replace for free.. she is with you for a reason, and she knows the cause.

If you remember my story about my client of long standing coming in every time I replaced her nails almost every week.. felts so badly.. come to find out with talking to her.. she was remodeling her home herself... and was striping wood and wood furniture w/ her bare hands.
Then coming in and complaining to me and I was replacing her nails for free.. before she went to work that week! DUH !

Only way your going to know is to listen to her talk.. about what a hard day she has had..
commiserate w/ her.. poor dear.. I am going to fix these and we are going to do extra hand massage w/ paraffin.. and talk her to death.. find out what she is doing w/ those nails.

I just can't imagine gel nails peeling off. Not all 10 nails, even 5 nails would be a hint that something going on and your not getting the whole picture.. when it happens over night.

What kind of free edge does she have.. what are the shape and constancy of her real nails ?  Are the thin .. peeling ?  Does she have health problems ?
Is your gel lamp.. made for the exact product line you are using ?  How old is the bulb ?
Is the product Constancy correct ? Is it new product from a company that is selling ..not  out dated / old ,  is it ?

If you do gels on all or many clients and no one else is having problems.. then, its more than likely her.. not you.

Also.. remember there are clients that wear nails for a short period of time.. like a wedding, dance time.. interviews.. etc that have no intention of wearing them long term.. and try to get the most out of a tech that they can get for nothing $.
That is why many do "party nails".

If she is new to nails.. could be she is not use to the "feel" of nails and she is taking them off.  What a regular nail wear-er is use to.. the "feel" shape.. tap.. heavier nail. Than a natural nail person is use too.
If the "feel" is differently she will peel them off.. one way or another.

The natural nail.. even if you put just polish on it.. will assume a bit more of a C curve as the polish dries. That can bother some natural nail clients when they are not use to polished several layers.
So think about that.. gels are much thicker than a natural nail/ heavier..you put a C curve to it or add a tip... more weight.. dif curve.
When doing it, she may just keep "playing" with them.. to the point that know it or not they bother her.  Like a cat that keeps taking a paw and caressing it playing it .. moving it.
New nail clients do the same thing.
Don't realize it.   Those of us use to it (nails or polish) pay no attention to this "feel" .
But a new client will.

OK lengthy here.. hope it helps .. Good Luck, Will be interesting to find out what happens and why.

Do the bulbs in your lamp need replaced?  Are you curing for the correct amount of time?  Are you prepping the natural nail correctly?  Are you having problems with this one client or all gel clients?

Ok gals I am so frustrated. I've done gels on a lady thurs and friday she tells me they fell off. Then I redid them sat she calls me today and says she only has 3 left on.  What the hell! I don't get it. I know she's been scrapbooking and embossing. I've never had this prob before. She says they are peeling off. I guess I'm gonna try acrylics but if that doesn't work I give up.  Thanks for letting me vent.
