Angie, No one really answered your question. When massaging you want to stay away from the ankle area, the pressure points there are believed to stimulate labor. With that said, as the others have stated more than likely you won't exert enough pressure to stimulate your clients labor.

The amount of pressure exerted by your thumb or a pressure point tool on a very specific spot is different than a nice foot massage. If someone had told me that I couldn't have a foot massage when I was pregnant, I would've cried!!! :) Nicole Sent on the TELUS Mobility network with BlackBerry From: Angela R Wingerter <[email protected]> Date: Thu, 26 Nov 2009 08:13:53 -0800 (PST) To: <[email protected]> Subject: NailTech:: pedi and labor I have a friend that is 32 weeks pregnant and has already dropped. The doctor made her quit working and stay off her feet. She wants a pedi. I heard there is a spot that you can massage on the feet that can trigger labor. Since I don't know reflexology do you think I could accidently put her in labor? Angie Wingerter -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "NailTech" group.
