When I was in the salon, I did these. I always tried to follow the
esthetics movements; cleansing, exfoliation, callus care using chemical
exfoliation, detail work on cuticles, filing and clipping, mask, massage,
polish.
When I was in the salon doing these, I used the following:
· I use hot towels from the hot towel cabinet.
· I use a large triangle bolster to keep their legs at the proper
angle, but I have also used a couple of pillows under the sheet as well.
· I have a heated table warmer and a heated throw to keep client
warm
· One of the floor Ott-Lights are perfect for seeing in a darkened
room
· Keep one hand on your client at all times to keep her from
jumping when you touch her
· You will need firmer pressure. For some reason, when they can’t
see what you are doing, it makes them more ticklish.
· The best ever book to have for stepping up your game on Spa
services is Janet McCormicks book, “Spa Manicuring”. I got all kinds of ideas
for this.

I am considering doing dry pedis and was wondering if anyone out there has
a protocol that could share for doing them! I plan on using my estee chair
for them. How do your clients like them?

Thanks in advance!!!
