I'll have to try the tag idea! Yeah, you don't have to worry about scorching unless they're sitting there for a loooonnnng time, and usually the only time you'll have to worry about that is like Simmy said, accidentally leaving them overnight. The tags doesn't get very hot so I grab the towel by the tag and shake it. I make sure I wring out the water enough so that hot water doesn't spray out when I shake the towel. I don't have a scorching problem unless I accidentally leave them in overnight. I too put essential oil drops in for a nice scent. Lynnette, I'm intrigued by the bag idea, let me know how it works! Then fold each one lengthwise and roll it up. Sort of squeeze it out as you roll it because you don't want it just dripping wet. Then put it in the crock pot. Mine has a "keep warm" setting which is what I use, and even then you have to be careful getting it out because the ones on the bottom will be HOT!! Just grab it by one end, though, and unfurl it and sort of shake it out a minute before you put it on the client, so it won't be scalding hot. It cools down in just a few secs. also, those on the bottom will be a lot wetter than those on the top, so squeeze out the excess so it won't drip all over the place. =) You can also put a drop or two of scent, or a little of the foot soak in the water when you wet them to really give the whole place a wonderful aroma. Just watch it if they're in there for very long cause they'll scorch. Maybe I missed the post somewhere, but I do dry pedis all of the time but without towels. I want to give them a try.
